About the Accommodation

The Mother Hulda spa suite is located on the top floor and offers a spacious 60 square meters (645 sq. ft) of space for up to two people. The luxury suite boasts its exquisite furnishings with a large spa bathroom with whirlpool, rain shower and interior window to the quiet bedroom. Likewise, directly over the king-sized bed, lays a large skylight that will entice you to snuggle longer. The open kitchen is perfect for lingering with a large island, dining table and cozy seating area.

Transport

A car is not necessary to vacation with us and explore the sights of Kassel. Sit back and relax as you travel by train. The Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe ICE long-distance train station is only a few minutes' walk away, and the next tram stop is even closer.

BY TRAIN

Arrive by train to the ICE long-distance train station Kassel-Bad Wilhelmshöhe (Attention! There are two main train stations in Kassel.) Do not go to the further train station, Kassel Hauptbahnhof. Rather, Wilhelmshöhe Station is only about 500 meters or about 6 minutes on foot to GRIMM'S LIVING. Leave the station through the main exit and keep to the left on Wilhelmshöher Allee (if you look up and see Hercules on the horizon, then you have walked in the right direction). Take the second right on Rolandstraße and you’ll have arrived at GRIMM'S LIVING. You’ll see the beautifully restored half-timbered house in front of you at the next intersection, at the corner of Rolandstraße and Lange Straße. Please do not go directly to the front entrance, but towards the back side of the house (here Rolandstraße becomes Stockwiesen) and left into the property's courtyard. The parking spaces are also located here, and the key lockbox is hung just to the left of the courtyard’s entrance door.

BY CAR

Coming from the north or south on the A7, please take the A44 towards Dortmund. Take the Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe exit. Turn left at the first set of traffic lights, and then follow the signs to Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe train station. On Wilhelmshöher Allee turn left onto Rolandstraße. You’ll then see the beautifully restored half-timbered house at the next intersection on the corner of Rolandstraße and Lange straße. You have arrived at GRIMM’S LIVING. Now, please cross the small intersection (here Rolandstraße becomes Stockwiesen) and turn left into the property's courtyard. Park your car directly in the courtyard on one of the marked parking spaces (if you have arrived at the train station, you have driven too far.) The keybox with the key cards is just to the left of the courtyard entrance door. One parking space per apartment is included in the price. If you need more parking spaces, please contact us in good time. If available, additional parking spaces can be booked for EUR 8 per night.

BY PLANE

The regional airport, Kassel International Airport, is located in Kassel-Calden approx. 13 km away. The Paderborn airport is 85 km away. The international airport Frankfurt / Main (FRA) can easily be reached by ICE within approx. 1.5 hours without switching trains (Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe to Frankfurt-Airport long-distance train station). It is 200 km by car. It is 160 km to Hanover-Laatzen exhibition grounds (approx. 2 hours without traffic jams).
